Hotel accommodations at GAMGA 2013

Dear GAMGA member,

As previously announced the GAMGA 2013 Gala will take place at the Texas Station in Las Vegas.

The board, together with the hotel management has reviewed the complaints and difficulties during the 2012 Gala and tried to find the best options for improvements.

It is a fact that the Texas Station does not have enough rooms to accommodate all GAMGA Gala visitors, so compromises will have to be made.

GAMGA has reserved a maximum amount of hotel rooms at the Texas Station (and is working to reserve the entire hotel), in addition we have reserved 50 rooms at the adjacent Fiesta Hotel, some at the Santa Fe and at least another 50 rooms and a hospitality suite at the Palace Station.

The hotel has agreed to run a 10 hour shuttle service into the early morning hours between the hotels. We are also trying to work with the groups that come with buses to make their buses available for limited shuttle service at peak hours and on Saturday to the strip.

The GAMGA board highly recommends that people coming by air take rooms at the Palace Station and therefor have access to the free airport, Strip and Texas Station shuttle service.

Publicity Director Bill Collins, offered to keep a waiting list and share it with the hotel for people that may not get into the Texas Station on the first attempt (success will be very limited). You can send Bill an e-mail at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . He will limit the list to 75 people and close it latest on December 1.

Best regards,

GAMGA Board
